A butterfly kept under
glass is beautiful to view, but nothing is more inspiring
than to see one flying freely in nature. Only the most perfect
"specimens" are kept and put under the glass.
When we lose a loved one,
we put them on a pedestal, under glass, for others to admire,
but not to share. We need to take them down from the pedestal
and let them be known for who they really were, imperfections
and all. Keeping someone on a pedestal under glass, means
no one else can live up to the standards of perfection you
have created. You will miss the opportunity to find renewed
love unless you release the love from this prision.
Love is to be shared,
and lessons that were learned that formed the love are important
too. We are what we have learned. Not all lessons need to
be taught again, and it is important to realize how you
came to this point in time in your life.
