Angel Kitty

You called my name, I didn't seem to hear
I scampered away as you drew near
I chose the time to interact
To play with yarn or a mouse to attack
If you were sad I would sit on your lap
You could hear my purr to help you relax.
It didn't take much to help me to thrive,
Your love is the reason that I stayed alive.
Because you cared I stayed with you
You were my angel for all those years.
Know now that I'm happy, contented and free
I still have an Angel to care for me.
