Angel
and a KNOT

For
many hundreds of years, cords of ropes made of rush and fiber
were used to "lock"
doors and tie up walls. The legend goes, a knotted rope became
a famous symbol of security. The
Gordian knot was tied by the legendary King Midas (the Midas touch)
Intricately tied by Gordius, King of Phrygian, and known by his
name, the Gordian Knot, secured the yoke to the shaft of his chariot.
The huge and complicated knot held a chariot together and had
no ends exposed. Its untying was pronounced by oracles to be possible
only by the man destined to conquer Asia. However, when Alexander
the Great failed to undo the Gordian Knot, He cut it swiftly with
his sword, giving us the expression, "to
cut the Gordian Knot,"
meaning a bold, decisive action, effective when milder measures
fail.

I Can
see Clearly Now
I can see clearly now the
rain is gone,. I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the
dark clouds that had me blind. Its gonna be a bright, bright
sunshiny day. I think I can make it not the pain is gone...all
of the bad feelings have disappeared, Here is my rainbow Ive
been praying for. Look all around theres nothing but blue
skies, look straight ahead nothing but blue skies. Its gonna
be a bright, bright sunshiny day.

The
Angel is not tying the knot, a knot of frustration and
dependence, but freeing us from the pain and enabling that kept
the knot too tight; but showing us that the knot can be freed from
our lives. We can enable our selves now, not be the one that is
the enabler to another.

Substance
or Emotional abuse is a dark rainy day, but the clouds are lifting,
the rain is gone, and only blue skies of healing are in our way.
No more are the obstacles hidden from us, we can see the knot
clearly, and be the enabled person.
