Play Music Someone to Watch Over Me

“Please mommy, I need a Band-Aid for Teddy, He’s been hurt” Mommy picks up the Teddy and carefully examines the tear on the ear, and reassures Her daughter that Teddy may need more than a Band-Aid this time, but everything will be all right.

That evening, with a “stitched up ear” Teddy sits in a little wooden chair and waits for his little girl to bring in the tea to her Daddy.

Since Teddy Bears don’t talk, or die, the little girl always felt safe when holding her bear, but on one very sad day, even Teddy couldn’t comfort the little girl. The little girl’s Daddy had died, and when she ran to hold her bear to cry into his fur, she thought she heard her Daddy’s voice, saying
“Yes, I would love to have Tea with you and Teddy.”

The Teddy bear has seen the little girl cry, laugh, sing and pout but never had he seen the little girl so sad.

As the years passed, the little girl grew to be a beautiful woman with children of her own. Teddy was always surprised when once a year, she would set him in his little chair and say to the bear, "Yes I would love to have Tea with you and Daddy."
